MYANMAR TOUR PACKAGES DISCOVERY OF ANCIENT RAKHINE STATE
Your mini stay includes
Tour Hotel Mrauk U: Vesali Sittway: Shwe Thazin
We'll pick you up at hotel in Yangon or Thandwe (Sandoway) and transfer to airport for flight to Sittway. Upon arrival, transfer to jetty to board a simple boat for 70 km (6 hours) upriver cruise to the ancient capital of Mrauk U with the view of sunset. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel for the next three nights. (hotel)
Day Two - Visit to tattooed woman village
Day Three - See Mrauk U
Day Four - Downriver journey on Lay Mro River to Sittway This morning we'll have the chance to do some shopping at Mrauk U market, and visit Museum and Palace site. Continue to visit Mro tribe village before we transfer to jetty to enjoy a downriver journey return to Sittway. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel for overnight. (Hotel/Breakfast) Day Five - Fly back to Yangon (or) Thandwe Morning visit of Sittway's main market, where town and rural people come to buy and sell fish and general supplies, U Ray Kyaw Thu Monastery, Pyi lon Chantha Image, point at beach resort and transfer to airport for return flight to Yangon or Thandwe. (Breakfast) This package can start and end at Thandwe in stead of Yangon. The Rakhine State is still undeveloped for most aspects of tourism. Although Myanmar Elite will endeavor to obtain the best available accommodations, transport and facilities for guests, we would ask their understanding for any practical aspects which do not come up to expectations, and for delays or changes in itinerary. It is not recommended to travel this region during Monsoon season (June-mid-October), as heavy floods are common.
