TOUR ITINERARY
Package One: Day
Return
After breakfast, leave for Magyiseik village
by boat ( approx 10 minutes) where we start
for 4 hours trek to Hti-nei Pa-O village.
Being on the summit of the mountain ranges,
Hti-nei is the well-selected place to make a
lunch break. Lunch with prior arrangements
(or boxed lunch) will be offered at a Pa-O
residence. After enjoying the atmosphere of
the place, drive down to KAKKU Pagoda
complex passing through Naung-ke Pa-O
village. Upon arrival at Pagoda around late
afternoon, witness the unique and
magnificent collection of Buddhist Stupas
unknown to the outside world – more than
2,000 Stupas closely packed together in a 1
square kilometer. The Stupas are decorated
with fascinating stucco works and furnished
with architectural and historical values.
KAKKU IS UNHEARD OF BY MANY A HISTORIAN AND
UNLISTED IN TOURIST GUIDE BOOKS. Depart
KAKKU by car to Taunggyi, the capital of
Shan State (approx. 1 ½ hours) to complete
the life-long memorable trip.
Package Two:
2-Day/1-Night
Day One - Experience
in Pa-O village
After breakfast, leave for Magyiseik village
by boat ( approx 10 minutes) where we start
for 4 hours trek to Hti-nei Pa-O village.
Being on the summit of the mountain ranges,
Hti-nei is the well-selected place to make a
night stop. After boxed lunch, it is time to
discover how simple the locals Pa-O people
live in this remote area. Tonight why not
enjoy the Pa-O dinner and overnight at
village monastery or at the headman house.
Day Two - Trek to
Kakku
After Pa-O breakfast, trek down to Naung-Ke,
another Pa-O village where we meet our
driver to drive to KAKKU Pagoda complex.
Upon arrival at Pagoda complex around noon,
lunch will be offered at Hlaing Konn
Resturant. After lunch, time to witness the
unique and magnificent collection of
Buddhist Stupas unknown to the outside world
– more than 2,000 Stupas closely packed
together in a 1 square kilometer. The Stupas
are decorated with fascinating stucco works
and furnished with architectural and
historical values. KAKKU IS UNHEARD OF BY
MANY A HISTORIAN AND UNLISTED IN TOURIST
GUIDE BOOKS. Depart KAKKU by car to Taunggyi,
the capital of Shan State (approx. 1 ½
hours) and transfer direct to your hotel to
complete the life-long memorable trip.

TOUR ITINERARY
Program One: Day Return (Kalaw ~ Pane-ne-pin
Palaung Village ~ Kalaw)
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kalaw
to set off for 3 hours trekking to 'Pane-ne-pin'
Palaung village, passing through tealeaf,
Sebastian leaf (leaves that are used to
produce Burmese Cigar, known as 'Cheroot')
and orange plantation. Time to observe the
process of making tealeaf and Sebastian
leaf. Have a rest, snack and green tea at
village monastery. We can see the distant
overview of Kalaw and zigzag way leading to
flat terrain toward Mandalay. Return to
Kalaw to complete this day return trip.
Program Two: Day Return (Kalaw ~ Pa-O
~ Palaung ~ Danu villages ~ Kalaw)
We'll pick you up from your hotel in kalaw
to start the full day trek to see three
different hill tribe villages. First trek to
Pa-O village figuratively known as 'hillock
of five houses' taking approx one and a half
hour. Afterward proceed to Pane-ne-pin
Palaung village passing through the ranges
studded with Sebastian and Orange plantation
where the view of landscape is marvelous
(takes approx 1 hour). Boxed lunch will be
served at village monastery and have a rest.
There are still a couple of long houses
where many Palaung families live together
under the same roof. After lunch and having
rest, continue to trek down the ranges about
one third and up again through tealeaf
plantation to get to 'Myin-ka' resided by
Danu hill tribe. We will wonder around the
village to witness their ways of life. Have
a rest, snacks and green tea at village
monastery and return to Kalaw by another
route enjoying the scenic beauty en route.
The whole length of trip takes about 10
hours.
Program Three: Day Return (Kalaw ~
Myin-ma-hti cave ~ Danu village ~ Kalaw)
This trip can be biked and said to be the
trip of photographer due to its fantastic
scenic beauty en route. It takes about two
hours biking to get to Myin-ma-hti cave
where you can see the different sizes of
Buddha Statues placed together but not as
many as those of Pindaya Cave. We can also
visit the Myin-ma-hti Danu village on this
trip. The whole length of trip takes about 5
hour by bike and this can be trekked as
well.
Program Four: Day Return (Kalaw ~
Taryaw Palaung village ~ Kalaw)
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kalaw
and start trekking to Tar-yaw Palaung
village (approx. 4 hours) enjoying the
scenic beauty en route. It is time to see
the ways of Palaung people life living in a
same house together and the process of
making tealeaf and Sebastian leaf. Boxed
lunch will be served and trek back to Kalaw
to end up this trip. The whole length of
trip takes about 8 hours. If you are still
enthusiastic enough, you can continue your
trek to 'Nyaung-kone', another Palaung
village. You can see the old gold mine in
this area and if we are timed at train
schedule, we can trek up to 'Kwe-yoke'
station to catch the train back to Kalaw.
Program Five: Day Return (Kalaw ~
Hinkhar-kone palaung village ~ Kalaw)
This Palaung village is less traveled by
tourists and the whole length of trip takes
about eight and a half hours. Boxed-lunch
can be arranged. We can take the route back
to Kalaw by the 'Ye-aye-kan' (literally
means 'Lake of Cold Water') which is the
lake providing the water to the whole town
of Kalaw. Its embankment and bridge were
built during the heyday of British.

Program One:
Day Return to visit Palaung Hill-tribe
After breakfast, trekking will start at
07h00 to Sikya-inn Danu village, taking
approx. 2 hours. Take a rest for a while,
have snack and green tea. Then onwards to
hike to Yasakyi village where hill tribe
Palaung live. It takes another one and a
half hour (4 km) and upon arrival there
around 11h00, we'll have boxed-lunch and
rest in a monastery. Then, time to stroll in
the village and discover their ways of life.
On return, we will trek a different way,
gazing at the evergreen scenery en route and
visit Linne-inn and Taung-paw-gyi Danu
villages. The whole length of return journey
covers about 10 km range and takes about 2
hours.
Program Two:
2-Day/1-Night Experiences in Palaung
Hill-tribe
Day One - Trek to Yasakyi
After breakfast, trekking will start at
08h00 to Sikya-inn Danu village, taking
approx. 2 hours. Take a rest for a while,
have snack and green tea. Then continue hike
to Yasakyi village where hill tribe Palaung
live. It takes another one and a half hour

Day Two - Trek back to Pindaya
After Palaung breakfast, we'll mount the Mt
Yasakyi about 7000ft above sea level where
you can enjoy the panoramic views of the
area. Then, trek down to Mene mountain
ranges, passing through Pinsein-pin, Htinshu-gone
and Taung-paw-gyi Danu villages and arrive
in Pindaya before lunch.

Three: 3-Day/2-Night in Palaung
Villages
Day One - Trek to Yasakyi

have boxed-lunch and rest in a monastery.

Day Three - Trek back to Pindaya
After breakfast,
we'll start a return trek through Pansit,
Inya Kan, Zawgyi Myit Phyar, which all are
famous sites en route and arrive in Pindaya
before lunch.

TOUR ITINERARY
Program One - Day Return
(Kyaing Tong ~ Wan-pauk
~ Kyaing Tong)
After breakfast, start to drive to Wan-pauk
Palaung village. Upon arrival wander around
the village to discover the way of simple
Palaung people and return to Kyaing Tong.
This program takes about half day.
Program Two - Day
Return (Kyaing
Tong ~ Pin-tauk ~ Kyaing Tong)
After breakfast, drive to Pin-tauk village
where we can see Akha and Enn, known as
black-teeth people to west. En route, we
study the way of process of making rice-wine
as well as Shan paper. Boxed-lunch will be
served.
Program Three - Day
Return (Kyaing
Tong ~ Lwai-mwe ~ Kyaing Tong)
After breakfast, explore the morning market
of Kyaing Tong and set off for Lwai-Mwe ( 20
miles, approx. 21/2 hrs drive) where we
could visit the colonial style old buildings
such as former governor house, old church,
etc. En route, we will visit Akha, Wa, lahu
villages. Boxed-lunch will be served. Return
to Kyaing Tong.
Program Four - Day
Return (Kyaing
Tong ~ Pan-kwe ~ Kyaing Tong (on the way to
Tachileik)
After breakfast, head out to the group of
Pan-kwe Akha villages. Although all these
four villages belong to the same tribe Akha,
they are different in terms of religion;
there are villages whose people profess
Christianity and other Animist. Boxed-lunch
will be served and drive back to Kyaing
Tong.
Program Five - Day
Return (Kyaing
Tong – Wan-nyat, Wan- Shan – Kyaing Tong (on
the way to Mailar)
After breakfast, drive to Tai-lwai Shan
villages. Upon arrival, start to trek up the
ranges about 2 hours to get the first
village 'Wan-nyat'. After wandering around,
continue to trek again (approx. half an
hour) to another 'Wan-shan' village. These
people keep their tradition to live in long
houses in which we can see many families
living under the same roof together.
Boxed-lunch will be served and drive back to
Kyaing Tong.
